Business Developer/Account Manager

Centuria Corporation, an award winning Service Disabled, Veteran Owned business, seeks a Mid-Level Business Developer/Account Manager.   Centuria seeks a straight shooting highly motivated go-getter with tremendous communications skills, and the tenacity required to drive success in a well oiled, fully supported sales machine.  Selected candidate will receive an extensive, market focused, well researched, company proprietary pipeline.  

Selected candidate shall:

  • Fill in the holes via on the ground reconnaissance.  Including documenting all actionable intelligence.
  • Work with Research to deepen Centuria's understanding of each opportunity and the customer in every way possible.  
  • Become expert in the customers' environment and culture and documenting it.   
  • Ensure the customer is aware of us and our abilities  
  • Ensure potential teammates are aware of us and our abilities. 
  • Identifying potential teammates
  • Become well versed in weather and weather related services and with NOAA, NWS, FAA, and weather related aspects of DOD components.  Experience in these areas highly desirable but will train.  
  • Become expert in each opportunity and share that expertise during proposal development, to include being a reviewer on all related bids.  
  • Report to the head of BD and work closely with the company President through both scheduled partner meetings, customer visits, and weekly sales strategy sessions designed to ensure all opportunities are pursued at the highest level possible.  

Selected candidates results will be measured weekly by moving identified opportunities forward; and will be paid a salary, with considerable win bonuses available.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Veterans who have completed a tour as a Recruiter, Drill Instructor, or a tour within any SOC need 2 years of experience in account management, program management or sales in the government services industry.  
  • Veterans without the above specific military experience need 4 years in a Program Management, Account Management or Sales role in the Government Services industry. Non-Veterans require 6 years experience as above.
  • Experience in NOAA, NWS, FAA or other weather related DOD is a plus.
  • Requires a serious, go getter with real desire, able to work in an intense, fast moving environment with a good deal of autonomy coupled with strong support from corporate and our field offices.
